Once upon a time in the east(ern part of Amsterdam) 
a little optimist was born in the OLVG hospital, 
his parents called him Willem and since then 
it's been getting worse :)

black coffee, chocolate cookies, tagliatelle (linguini),
sleeping, playing bass,

any Tarkovski or Tarantino movie, Indiana Jones, 
Willem Breuker, Jimi Tenor, Massive Attack, Portishead
Frank Zappa, Ray Brown, The Cure, Tori Amos,
campfires, making games, AD&D,
GNU, Linux, Apple hardware, Scheme and Perl,
'freedom, truth, honesty and loyalty' in practice.

it doesn't like:
chat shorthand, visual basic etc, het GVB, bureaucracy, knife cuts,
fundamentalist ideas of any kind, ignorance induced arrogance,
managers, mobile phones ringing, mobile phones not ringing,
that Ewok movie, commercials, telemarketers, war no matter what motive,
damaging other people, sound feedback, 
the 'beauty' industry, boob jobs, light (as in not darkness) pollution,
